Who we are
We're a core group of lifelong friends who decided to create an alternative travel site and guide service dedicated to people who would rather step off the beaten path. We're a group of individuals who realize that travel is more than just arriving at a destination. We understand that the shared experiences, and new relationships developed along the way, add a depth to life that only such explorations can. We're people who have no intention of looking back and saying, "I wish I would have."

What we're looking for
Are you someone who loves to travel, knows how to surf, snowboard, ski, skateboard, ride bikes, and/or enjoys meeting new people? If you answered yes to any or all of the above, then Los Vagabundos is looking for you. We're a travel site dedicated to people who love to travel and actually know how to do something.

What we do
Each year we set up several one week trips to destinations around the globe. Members have the ability to vote on proposed destinations and activities, however, the final decision on where to go and when remains with the core group of Los Vagabundos travel guides. Each January the list of trips and dates for the year is posted online and members have the opportunity to sign up for the trip(s) anytime before January 31st. Typically each year we offer one surf tour, one ski/snowboard tour, one mountain bike tour, and one dirt bike tour as well as one speciallty trip outlined below.

Special Trips
Additionally, each year we offer two to three special trips. These trips are for the more adventurous traveler who enjoys a surprise. The way it works is a Los Vagabundos travel guide sets up a trip to some destination in the world. Updates are sent as to the climate of the region, what to bring (surfboards, snowboards, hiking boots, etc.), travel dates, and any other pertinent information the guide decides to divulge. Other than that nothing else is known about the trip until the day of departure.
